Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ginger powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined.
Season the Pork Chops: Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Combine in Slow Cooker: Place the pork chops in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them. Add the pineapple chunks on top.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork is tender and fully cooked.
Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy with rice or steamed vegetables.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
