Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces chow mein noodles

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup sliced cabbage

1 cup bean sprouts

1/2 cup sliced carrots

1/4 cup sliced green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the chow mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced cabbage, carrots, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Add Noodles and Sauces: Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Finish and Serve: Stir in the bean sprouts and green onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade chow mein!
